Tornado Archive is a community created and contributed tornado data visualization resource for exploration, research and historical reference. Check out our Data Explorer. All of our costs are self funded with assistance from our Patreon supporters. Our data sets include information from publicly funded compulsory datasets, private research papers, historical discovery, community contributions, Tornado Archive members and far more. Consider donating $1/month to help us cover hosting costs. In return, you can join live conversation on our development discord to be always in the know! As of mid 2025, we are just barely break even with hosting/backup/licensing costs over time while we fund ourselves with all upfront costs. Our stretch goals would allow us to pay for future costs such as more backup storage or attending additional weather conferences. Our team of dozens of volunteers does not profit from Tornado Archive and we intend to spend anything donated toward website feature expansion and community science outreach. Thank you to all of you who have been supporting us and cheering us on these past few years!
